This year’s Disney Ultimate Toy Drive was the biggest yet, breaking Disney records with collections of more than half a million toys for children in need thanks to contributions from Disney, as well as fans, families, and cast members.

Over 500,000 toys were collected for donation around the world, with more than 400,000 toys going to the Marine Toys for Tots Program in the U.S. Thousands of employees and cast members spent more than 3,000 hours supporting the Disney Ultimate Toy Drive through Disney VoluntEARS, Disney’s employee volunteerism program.

Every Disney business segment joined in on the Disney Ultimate Toy Drive this year, contributing to record-breaking collection numbers and participation from employees, talent and cast.

On Christmas Eve, Good Morning America shared the Disney Ultimate Toy Drive’s impact on communities across the globe.

Delivering Holiday Happiness in Disney Parks & Experiences

As part of the Disney Ultimate Toy Drive, Mickey Mouse went on a first-of-its-kind global giving journey, delivering toys to nonprofits, schools and hospitals at Disney destinations around the world to create happiness for kids in need during the holiday season.

Mickey’s Giving Journey included stops in New York, Nassau, Paris, Hong Kong, Shanghai, Tokyo, Sydney, Oʻahu, Anaheim, Washington D.C., Orlando, and more. Fans could follow Mickey Mouse’s path through an interactive map, live storytelling on the @MickeyMouse Instagram, and daily updates on the Disney Parks Blog.

Fans and families were also able to donate a toy at U.S. Disney Store locations, the Downtown Disney District at Disneyland® Resort, Disney Springs at Walt Disney World Resort, and online at  DisneyStore.com.
